Pre-Order & Cancellation Policy

This Pre-Order & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made from The Mismatched Studio, operated by Alpine Steel General Trading LLC, UAE.

Pre-Orders

Certain products on our website may be available for pre-order. A pre-order allows you to purchase an item before it is available for immediate dispatch.

The estimated dispatch or delivery timeframe displayed on the product page or communicated at the time of purchase is an estimate only. While we make every reasonable effort to meet the stated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to production, availability, logistics, customs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.

Payment for Pre-Orders

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, payment for pre-order items is collected at the time the order is placed.

Your order will be confirmed once payment has been successfully received and you have received an order confirmation from us.

Cancellation of Pre-Orders

Because pre-order items may be specifically allocated, ordered, sourced, or produced based on confirmed customer orders, cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible after placing the order.

A pre-order may only be cancelled before production, sourcing, procurement, personalisation, or fulfilment has commenced.

Once an item has entered production, been specifically sourced or allocated for your order, been personalised or customised, or has been dispatched, the order cannot ordinarily be cancelled.

Any cancellation rights available to you under applicable UAE consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

Customised and Personalised Products

Products that have been customised, personalised, altered, embroidered, made to specific measurements, or otherwise produced according to your individual requirements cannot be cancelled or returned once production has commenced, except where the product is defective, damaged, incorrect, or where otherwise required by applicable law.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all customisation details, including size, colour, design, embroidery, initials, names, or other personalised specifications before approving the order.

Changes to an Order

If you would like to change the size, colour, delivery information, customisation, or other details of an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to accommodate reasonable changes where possible, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered production, processing, or fulfilment.

Additional charges may apply where a requested change results in additional production or material costs. We will inform you of any applicable charges before proceeding.

Cancellation by The Mismatched Studio

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel an order due to product unavailability, production issues, pricing or listing errors, payment issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order for which payment has already been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item to the original payment method, subject to applicable payment processing times.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy.

We may request photographs or other reasonable information to assess the issue before arranging an appropriate resolution.

Returns and Refunds

Cancellation of an order is separate from a return after delivery.

Eligibility for returns, exchanges, and refunds after an order has been delivered is governed by our Returns & Refund Policy and applicable UAE consumer protection laws.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
